Key Requirements

  • Must be able to work rotating shift schedules
  • Must be able to commute to Bolton

 

Provide a wide range of day-to-day administrative services/support to the Managers, Team Leaders, and Team Members in manufacturing.

 

Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability:

  •  Actively support the team to achieve business objectives.
  •  Planning and proactively organizing activities such as travel, catering, facilities, on and off campus site meetings and managing schedules for Managers and Team leaders to promote effective time management.
  • Ability to interact positively with various levels within the Business Unit and with other Business Units
  • Acting as a focal point for communications within and for Manufacturing
  • Participating in various meetings as required by the Manager and Team leader.
  • Opening, distributing, and sending incoming or outgoing mail, materials, and information
  • Maintaining secure and confidential information and records, i.e., department credit cards
  •  Updating Hour Entry system to reflect Team Member absences.
  •  Drafting and preparing letters, memos, reports, presentations
  • May participate in or lead continuous improvement activities.

 

Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Intermediate/advanced working knowledge of MS office applications i.e.. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and good judgment.
  • Demonstrates both tact and ability to respect confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to be flexible through changing priorities.
  • Able to understand and use the hour entry system and MRP system (ex. Baan)

Qualifications:        

Education 

Post secondary education (College diploma or University degree preferred), or 3 –5 years of equivalent work experience.

Related Experience 

2 to 3 years related administrative experience.
