Job Description
As a member of the EMEA Field Support team, you will be responsible for providing a higher level of expertise support to the CSM regions in Europe, Middle East & Africa. This support may include providing support to Asia and other Husky locations when needed. Your main responsibility will include the successful startup of PET Beverage Packaging systems including supporting the installation of the systems when needed/required. Responsibilities include being able to troubleshoot dryer, chiller, machine, mold, robot, conveyor, dehumidification, equipment to ensure we are able to run the entire system with the full performance and efficiency. You will require a higher-than-average ability of processing experience to be successful in this role, as well as the ability to work independently, and have strong analytical problem-solving skills. You may also be asked to assist the field support group in field SIF/SIR investigations which could be either machine or PET mold specific. Your role includes providing regular and effective written reports (via Baan LN and Email) to the Regional Service Manager. You are expected to learn and work with the latest technologies as well as to support our Product Launch Team when new product platforms are released to market. You will need to be comfortable working within a high paced team, that easily adapts to customer needs on short notice.
You will operate from home office in The Europen Union with administrative support from our European headquarters in Dudelange / Luxembourg. You will report to the Service Manager located in Luxembourg.
Responsibilities
- Successful system start-up and acceptance
- Support service existing field support organization / mentor regional service technicians
- Support quality team in SIF/SIR investigation in the field
- Provide regular and effective written reports via ESR – BaaN LN – E-mail
- Approx. 65% travel within the EMEA region, in addition approx. 10% of global travel will be required
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical, engineering, hydraulics, pneumatics, or equivalent experience
- Some years of work experience with injection molding systems and related products (technical and mechanical)
- 3rd party auxiliary equipment operation and processing as related to the successful productions of PET system
- Good knowledge in Husky machine construction, start-up, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting considered a strong asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer orientated, dedicated team player, initiative taker
- Fluent in English
- Additional language skills considered an asset
